Caitlin spends an unhealthy amount of time at creative pursuits, owns more books than she could possibly ever read, and is a serial word maker-upper. When not writing, she is usually drawing, reading, hiking, or practicing the fine art of procrastination. As a part time zombie dolphin hunter, she never leaves home without her machete, emergency pack of freeze pops, and a bottle of Cheez Whiz–which is a fairly effective repellent against the watery beasts.

If you happen to catch her daydreaming, which is fairly often, it usually involves planning wars, plotting world domination, and crushing the hopes and dreams of villains.

She currently resides in Western Massachusetts where it is very pretty, but nothing ever happens.

The majority of my work in is pencil, charcoal, watercolor, oil and pastel. My styles are all over the place, ranging from manga/anime to landscapes, from portraits to still life and whatever else catches my fancy.

**A little note about the name:
It was inspired by one of the characters in my book, who uses the name Marquis du Soliel as a pseudonym, not a very good one, but then again he isn't really trying too awfully hard to be inconspicuous, as he doesn't really know how to be anything other than flamboyant. Maybe you'll get to meet him one day.
